Service Steward

Perform all assigned side-work functions in the service areas of the restaurant. Support service team as requested and may perform cleaning tasks as needed.

• Polish all silverware and glassware; fold and roll linen as assigned
• Set up all side stations, as assigned
• Perform on-going maintenance and cleaning of the side stations throughout the shift
• Observe guests, respond to additional requests by communicating with the appropriate service or bar personnel
• Assist in the break-down of side stations at end of day
• Perform closing side work duties as assigned
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned

• Adhere to all established safety standards
• Adhere to all established sanitation standards
• Adhere to established standards for Guest service

• Lift and transports up to 40 lbs.
• Frequently reach, lift, stoop, bend, shake, stir, and wipe
• Ability to stand and move during majority of shift
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
• Work carefully to maintain a safe environment preventing cuts, burns, slips, and falls
• Frequently immerse hands in water
• Work well with each department. Communicate pertinent information effectively.
• Make positive impression on internal and external guests
• Perform side work as specified by management
• Maintain proper safety and sanitation procedures
• Ability to keep guests happy and recognize guests’ needs
• Adhere to Company standards and all laws regarding alcohol service
